As a key member of our Engineering and Construction Business Unit, you will coordinate and support the Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Construction resources through the pre-construction (ES) activities for Transmission and Substation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities such as Budget, Schedule, Procurement, Engineering, Permitting, and Land.
  • Ensure each project is ready to be turned over to the construction PM with an executable construction plan.
  • Lead a team of project managers and manage the portfolio for a given region.
  • Develop project plans with emphasis on scope, constructability, schedule, and costs.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Development, Land, Environmental, Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Interconnection support.
  • Prepare Request for Proposal documentation to competitively source, select, and contract geotechnical, survey, engineering, material, equipment, and construction services.
  • Support the cost estimating team with assumptions and deliver financial model inputs to the respective business unit.
  • Manage the project schedule and communicate key risks to management.
  • Represent the E&C's interest on assigned projects, including presentations and briefings on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years of supervisor/management experience.
