Job Summary
The Senior Laboratory Operations Manager at Staff Icons must possess in-depth knowledge of laboratory operations, including all sections. This role involves performing the duties of a Medical Technologist III and assisting the supervisor. In the absence of the supervisor, the successful candidate will take charge of monitoring shift operations across all laboratory sections.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of all laboratory sections, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Perform the duties of a Medical Technologist III, including laboratory testing and analysis.
- Assist the supervisor in monitoring shift operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
- In the absence of the supervisor, take charge of laboratory operations, making key decisions to ensure continuity and quality of service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a strong background in laboratory operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
