Job Title: SCADA System Technician II

Job Summary:

The SCADA System Technician II will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of SCADA systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and transmitters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair SCADA systems, including PLCs, sensors, and transmitters
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and other control systems
  • Perform electrical and instrumentation work, including wiring, conduit installation, and electrical panel maintenance
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless system integration and operation
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on SCADA systems and associated equipment

Requirements:

  • Current Jefferson Parish Class A Electrical License or Louisiana Statewide Electrical License
  • Minimum of three years of experience performing industrial or commercial electrical construction work, with at least one year of experience at the journeyman level
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
