BAYADA Home Health Care, a leading provider of home health care services, is seeking a skilled Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to receive the medical attention required to remain at home.

The ideal candidate will possess a current Rhode Island Occupational Therapist license and a minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist at BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients in their homes, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
  • Assessing cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and developing individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Educating and instructing patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be expected to accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet.
