About the Role

  • This is a high-volume practice with a growing patient base, offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including adults and children, with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
  • Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house X-ray room and a second being constructed, as well as P&O, casting, and splinting capabilities.
  • You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
  • This is an outpatient position, with occasional hospital rounding required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, in collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals.
  • Perform a variety of procedures, including casting, splinting, and P&O.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant, with a strong background in orthopedic conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of patients.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in a variety of situations.
