Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, positioning patients, and ensuring their safety during exams.
Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts
- Position patients for imaging exams and ensure their safety
- Prepare equipment for use and prepare examination rooms for patient exams
- Document exam information and report important findings to physicians
- Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
