Job Details:

  • On-site position
  • Part-time or full-time
  • Elementary-middle school caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and swallowing function
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Louisiana
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Previous experience in an educational setting
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with AAC devices preferred
