Mammography Technologist

Onsite Women's Health is dedicated to delivering exceptional women's healthcare services. We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our team.

As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice.

• Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Operate mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
• Practice radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
• Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order at all times.
• Perform all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State requirements, as well as maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Process routine paperwork and all required data entry, and participate in professional development activities and maintain professional certifications.
• Assist the Radiologist with QA/QC reporting and perform all mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines and requirements.

• 2 years of experience in mammography.
• ARRT certification.
• Must be up to date on all CME credits.
• Must be very patient centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
