Key Responsibilities:


Adhere to state practice acts and comply with laws governing physical therapy practice and supervision.

Conduct evaluations, provide treatment, and document the medical necessity for physical therapy services.

Maintain respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, families, and third-party payors.

Participate in facility meetings as directed by management.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.

Possession of a valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration is REQUIRED to commence work.

Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift patients using appropriate techniques throughout the workday. Must be capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds independently.

Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach consistently during the workday.


Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient for evaluating, diagnosing, and monitoring patient needs, as well as maintaining accurate records.
Ability to communicate effectively to understand and provide directions.

Ability to maneuver wheeled equipment within the facility and community.


Possess fine motor skills for accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, and correspondence, whether manually or electronically.
Possess fine motor skills for the effective handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.
