Job Title: Breast Sonographer

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Breast Sonographer to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Breast Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts exams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in compliance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document patient history and exam results accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for each patient.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Registered in Abdomen or OB and must be registered in within one year of hire. RVT registry is a plus.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
