Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of pre-production activities and provide on-site event assistance.
- Develop and maintain production timelines and essential documentation.
- Collaborate with audio/visual service providers.
- Assist with the logistics of load-in and load-out processes.
- Organize and oversee equipment inventory management.
- Exhibit professionalism in client-facing situations.
- Provide basic IT support as needed.
Required Qualifications: We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a solid technical foundation who is keen to expand their knowledge in Audio/Video/Lighting Production. The selected individual will gain hands-on experience with large-scale events from inception to execution. Events vary in size and scope, accommodating hundreds to thousands of attendees across diverse venues. A minimum of 3 years of experience in production, particularly in events, festivals, theater, or television, is preferred; however, we are open to candidates who demonstrate passion and a commitment to learning and achieving success. This role requires in-person work and travel commitments.
Essential Skills: A degree in technical, theatrical, or communications fields is preferred. Proficiency in both Mac and PC platforms, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and basic computer networking skills are necessary. Candidates should be highly organized, confident drivers with valid licenses and insurance, capable of multitasking and working independently, and willing to travel (a valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required). Availability to work evenings and weekends is also expected.
Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of video systems, digital production experience, vMix programming, and familiarity with CAD software (VectorWorks preferred), including an understanding of floorplan layouts and basic life safety regulations.
