**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, MI. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, and provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.

**Responsibilities:**

* Evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans
* Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
* Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
* Promote continuous quality improvement
* Teach and counsel patients and families

**Qualifications:**

* Must possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
* Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
* Current state licensure is required
* ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* One year of related experience is preferred
