Assembly, Integration and Test Technician

At BlueHalo, we're pushing the boundaries of space-qualified hardware development. As an Assembly, Integration and Test Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and assemble components and subassemblies for space and flight hardware
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and ICDs to ensure accurate assembly and testing
  • Follow established assembly and test procedures, documenting results and discrepancies
  • Work in a clean room environment to assemble and test sensitive hardware
  • Operate space and flight hardware qualification test equipment, including TVAC and vibration testing
  • Inspect and collect data on incoming components
  • Clean and vacuum bake out components to ensure optimal performance
  • Use a variety of test equipment, including O-Scopes, multi-meters, and power supplies
  • Verify, collect, and organize data for component COC/COA/Travelers
  • Perform moderate physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and bending, as required
  • Assist engineers and other technicians as needed
Requirements:
  • Associates degree and five (5) years of experience as a technician, or high school and seven (7) years of experience as a technician
  • Demonstrated experience assembling and testing space and/or flight hardware
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ESD fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately read drawings, assembly and test procedures, and other related documentation
  • Experience interpreting assembly drawings
  • Experience mixing and applying epoxies and adhesives
  • Demonstrated experience with different test equipment, including TVAC and vibration testing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • J-STD-001 Certification with Space Addendum
  • IPC-620 Certification
  • IPC-A-610 Certification
