Job Summary

Community Action Partnership Lancaster and Saunders Counties is seeking a skilled Weatherization Crew Member to join our team. As a key member of our Weatherization team, you will play a critical role in completing weatherization units in compliance with funding sources' rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weatherization Work: Perform weatherization measures outlined by funding sources, ensuring quality and quantity of materials installed, and maintaining a safe and accurate work environment.
  • Material Management: Obtain and maintain necessary materials, equipment, and tools for each job, accurately tracking inventory and ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Conduct final checks on all work performed and site cleanup to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with funding source requirements.
  • Training and Development: Attend required program, division, agency, and community meetings, trainings, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years' experience in the building trade, with knowledge of weatherization procedures, guidelines, products, regulations, and terminology.
  • Certifications: Must have or be able to obtain Lead Safe RRP, OSHA-30, and BPI Crew Leader certifications within 6 months of employment.
  • Driver's License: Valid Nebraska Driver's License and good driving record required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate English effectively, with strong interpersonal skills to work with clients of diverse backgrounds.
