Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet every customer with a smile, make eye contact, and thank each customer at the end of the transaction and when they leave the store.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Maintain the sales floor in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion, including rotating stock, putting fresh product out, and ensuring visual presentations are up-to-date.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions quickly and accurately within cash handling guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: No previous experience required.
  • Certifications: No professional certifications are required for this position.
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
