**Job Summary:** We are seeking a motivated and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Queens and Manhattan. As an LPN at AHRC NYC, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.

**About Us**

AHRC NYC is one of the largest providers of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities in New York City. Our mission is to advocate for people who are neuro-diverse to lead full and equitable lives.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring health and safety needs of individuals living in our residences.
  • Supervising and participating with direct support staff tasks related to personal hygiene, Activities of Daily Living, incontinence care, and environmental cleanliness.
  • Administering medications as per procedure outline.
  • Reporting and overseeing infection control practices.

The LPN position has an annual salary of between $60-$62.4K plus a comprehensive health benefit package.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure.
  • AHA or equivalent CPR certification.
  • Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
