Position: Security Officer

Hourly Rate: $23.00

Overview:
Sunstates Security is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Security Officer in the Renselar area. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a competitive hourly wage.

Requirements:
All candidates must possess a valid NYS Security License.

Key Responsibilities:
The Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Providing 24/7 officer coverage.
  • Managing access control at the guardhouse.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.
  • Checking in guests and contractors.
  • Issuing identification badges for entrants.
  • Overseeing shipping and receiving security.
  • Conducting regular security patrols both indoors and outdoors.
  • Reporting incidents to security management.
  • Responding to emergencies effectively.
  • Completing detailed incident reports.
  • Monitoring premises via CCTV for safety.
  • Utilizing computer systems proficiently.

Additional Information:
A Security Officer may undertake various duties as outlined in the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). It is essential for the Security Officer to familiarize themselves with these directives to act promptly and efficiently.
