Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Program Coordinator to join our team at Ochsner Health System. This role will be responsible for coordinating the rehabilitation treatment of patients within our rehabilitation services department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language pathology, and will be able to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the rehabilitation treatment of patients within our rehabilitation services department
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs in collaboration with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language pathology
  • 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language pathology
  • 1 year of leadership experience in a rehabilitation setting
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software
