  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • One (1) year experience required in specialty.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech Therapist in NYS.
  • Valid NYS drivers license.
  • Verbal ability necessary to communicate with patients and others.
  • Written communication abilities, to be able to prepare accurate, concise and meaningful reports.

Working Conditions

  • Variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • May be required to work in patients' homes, which may involve traveling to different locations.
