Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental care team at CHOICE Healthcare Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children in our communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the doctor in procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and take x-rays to support diagnostic efforts.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and instruct patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
  • Chart and treatment plan with the doctor to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Perform sterilization of instruments and setup rooms for hygiene and treatment.
  • Take intraoral photographs and charting as needed.
  • Apply sealants, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience and/or training.
  • California Registered Dental Assistant License.
  • X-Ray Certification.
  • Coronal Polish Certification required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Sealant Certification, preferred.
