Job Summary:

Essentia Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to patients and support the needs of patients in a safe and comfortable environment. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Provide comfort care and other assistance as needed
  • Transfer patients safely and efficiently
  • Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements:

  • Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
  • Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
