Job Description

As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, upgrading, maintaining, and implementing Controls Systems, DCS, PLC, and Business Critical Systems according to manufacturer recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in automation and controls systems design, including experience with PLC/SCADA programming, simulation, and testing.
  • Proven expertise in developing advanced PLC logic and programming using software from vendors such as Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, Omron, etc.
  • Familiarity with HMI/SCADA programming and configuration using software from vendors like Rockwell Factory Talk View, GE iFix/Cimplicity, Wonder-ware, Iconics, Siemens WinCC.
  • Experience in performing maintenance on Safety Instrumented Systems, Distributed Control Systems, and Business Critical Systems.
  • The ability to program and build controllers from scratch.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
