We are a leading logistics company, CLEAR CLUT LLC, seeking a skilled CDL A driver to join our team as a Contract Driver. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for hauling power only and dry van loads on an OTR basis.

Job Summary

  • Contract Driver (1099, Solo)
  • Power Only and Dry Van
  • OTR
  • $1,100 - $1,500 gross total weekly avg. pay
  • 25% of load
  • 2,500 - 3,500 avg. miles per week
  • No Driver Load/Unload
  • No slip seating

Home Time

  • Expected days out
  • You can stay out longer if you want to
  • Get 1 day of home time for every 6 days worked
  • Home at least one weekend per month

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintain a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Engage in daily customer interactions and maintain good customer relations.
  • Be available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Orientation Details

  • Orientation is not paid for
  • Accommodation is covered
  • Drivers get their own room
  • No meals are included
  • Covers some or all travel expenses

Hiring Requirements

  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
  • 2 years Tractor Trailer experience
