Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team in the Harrisburg area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and translating functional specifications into detailed business requirements, ensuring they are accurately conveyed to a vendor development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define functional specifications, ensuring that all business and technical requirements are clear and comprehensive.
  • Develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) from the gathered functional specifications to be passed to the vendor development team.
  • Maintain responsibility for the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of both functional and technical requirements, ensuring seamless handoffs to development teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and vendor development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented as specified.
  • Engage assertively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timelines, quality, and scope are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize tools within the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams) for efficient documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage requirement changes, ensuring stakeholders are updated and impacts are evaluated.
  • Proactively identify and address gaps, issues, or risks related to functional or technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure all developed solutions meet the initial business and technical requirements through testing and validation processes.
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and functional specification writing.
  • Ability to take ownership of both functional and technical requirements, ensuring they are correctly defined, documented, and implemented.
  • Proven ability to communicate assertively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure accountability.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams for documentation and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with vendor development teams.
  • Prior experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of producing high-quality technical documentation.
