Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating suite for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Monitor and maintain a sterile field, adhering to strict protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities to continuously improve our services.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and meet the needs of patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist by a recognized accrediting agency.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Operating Room as a scrub tech.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
