Job Opportunity

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their communication skills to their fullest potential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language issues and contributing to the development of effective IEPs.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Oregon state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
