About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Aerotek. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of HVAC systems in new residential construction. You will work directly on job sites, performing tasks such as loading and unloading tools, measuring distances, using hand/power tools, fabricating or altering parts, and installing flex duct/register boots in building attics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems in new residential construction
- Perform tasks such as loading and unloading tools, measuring distances, using hand/power tools, fabricating or altering parts, and installing flex duct/register boots in building attics
- Work directly on job sites, collaborating with a crew of 4-6 people
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company
Requirements:
- Previous outdoor work experience
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Willingness to learn construction skills
- Experience with hand/power tools
- Reliability
- Ability to retain knowledge
- Comfortable working in a team
Work Environment:
This role involves working on a construction site every day without reporting to an office. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with optional Saturdays. Contractors must wear their own work boots and appropriate clothing; steel toes are not required.
