Job Title: Neuro Diagnostic Technologist

Job Summary:
MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Neuro Diagnostic Technologist to work in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurological disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), to assess and monitor neurological activity.
  • Prepare patients for testing procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Analyze test results and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnostic procedures and treatment options.

Requirements:

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • R.EEGT. Credential (board registered electroencephalographic technologist) and/or completion of an Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostics Program.
  • Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurological disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current CPR certification (preferred).
  • Must be able to provide direct patient diagnostic testing and treatment through assessment and independent judgment.
  • Ability to implement the diagnostic process and secure quality patient recordings.
