Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Associate at UNFI, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient product receipt and put-away.
Main duties include:
- Verifying product quantities against packing slips/purchase orders
- Inspecting for damage due to refrigeration, travel, or handling
- Sorting and breaking down incoming product, building steady and secure pallets for back stock reserves
- Ensuring accurate labeling of product and pallets for put-away
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently
Benefits:
As a Logistics Associate, you will enjoy a competitive starting pay of $21.75/hr with pay increases, a Monday - Friday schedule from 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and a 10% discount on Cub store brands. You will also receive weekly paychecks, PTO after 90 days, and medical benefits after 30 days.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Logistics Associate, you will need:
- Understanding of receiving procedures, including use of Bakco and RF systems
- Knowledge of paperwork related to receiving, including PO receivers, Bills of Lading, and packing lists
- Ability to work overtime as needed, with good judgment in unsupervised situations
