Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Associate to join our team at CN Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc. As a Payroll Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for all employees, including bi-weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Accurately enter and update employee payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and deductions
  • Maintain and organize payroll records and files
  • Assist in calculating and processing deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or related clerical work
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., I-solved)
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
