About the Role

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a rural healthcare setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, administering, and supervising physical therapy treatment in accordance with physician referral, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient's functional abilities and limitations, determining if intervention is needed, and establishing a plan of care and treatment goals.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans with consideration to the patient's physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs.
  • Document according to professional practice guidelines set by regulatory agencies, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Exhibit adaptability in assignments, taking initiative to assist in other patient care areas and accepting responsibility for all patient care needs.
  • Supervise and delegate personnel to achieve safe delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care, ensuring competency of personnel prior to delegation of tasks.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an APTA-accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current Physical Therapy license within the State of practice.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in an automated patient care environment.
