Critical Care Nurse

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients who are critically ill but stable enough to leave the intensive care unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, promptly identifying and addressing any changes in status. You will also administer medications, including IV drips and infusions, as prescribed by physicians, and perform complex nursing procedures. Additionally, you will assist with the transition of patients from the ICU to the PCU, ensuring continuity of care and smooth handoff. Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, you will develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes. If you have a strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac care, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current RN state license in good standing, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown Unit, or related critical care nursing field, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). You will also need to have strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac care, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
