Nurse Supervisor

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist the manager with daily operations, including coordination of patient care, allocation of resources, and communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Support the manager in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as regulatory agency requirements.
- Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction, and to identify areas for improvement.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
