MercyOne Des Moines Diabetes and Endocrinology Care is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible endocrinologist to join its thriving practice. Practice Details- 5 physicians & 3 APPs
- 100% Endocrine Practice
- Outpatient based with rare inpatient consults
- Internal Medicine Faculty appointment at Mercy and University of Iowa
- Adjunct Faculty at Des Moines University
MercyOne Des Moines Diabetes and Endocrinology Care is a statewide referral network and is an ADA Certified Diabetes Education program, with three full-time CDEs and two educators on site. Physicians have full range to Des Moines Education Services, including CGMs and pump programs. Providers have access to DEXA scans and in-house osteoporosis infusion therapy, as well as high-resolution thyroid ultrasounds and are licensed to administer radioactive iodine. In addition, there is on-site clinical laboratory with the ability to perform dynamic testing.
