The Landscape Maintenance Specialist also undertakes responsibilities that necessitate the operation of machinery and the utilization of tools essential for maintaining all landscaping features throughout the resort.
Key Responsibilities• Uphold the Wynn standards of service for guests and colleagues consistently.
• Ensure the Wynn standards of cleanliness and visual appeal in all areas.
• Maintain a safe and immaculate work environment at all times.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to departmental and company safety protocols.
• Familiarize oneself with and comply with Wynn policies and procedures, embracing the company culture and taking pride in the resort and its amenities.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the resort's features and services, including all outlets, operational hours, activities, and events available to guests.
• Seek opportunities to assist colleagues, guests, other departments, or leadership at all times.
• Maintain a solution-oriented approach, avoiding conflict and gossip, while staying focused and promoting teamwork.
• Remain aware of the guest experience at all times, ensuring to smile, make eye contact, and communicate in a professional manner.
• Utilize a variety of manual hand tools, including but not limited to rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, fertilizer spreaders, pesticide sprayers, and hedge shears.
• Operate specialized power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, scissor lifts, boom lifts, sky tracks, forklifts, sprayers, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, utility vehicles, and trucks up to 30 ft. in length.
• Ensure proper care and safe operation of equipment and supplies.
• Implement appropriate pest management and irrigation practices.
• Ensure safe and effective tree climbing and rope access techniques.
