About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat/Seafood Clerk to join our team at Tops Friendly Markets Seaway Shopping Center. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Weigh, wrap, price, prepare, and label meat or seafood products to ensure accurate and efficient service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cooler, prep area, freezer, lobster tanks, and cases.
  • Fulfill customer requests for meat/seafood products and answer customer questions in a knowledgeable and helpful manner.
  • Ensure proper handling and storing of product to prevent spoilage and maintain product quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
