We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team at St. Mary's Health Network. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Utilize ultrasound technology to visualize internal cardiac structures and obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atrium.
- Assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Promote a positive and efficient work environment by effectively managing clerical functions, including document handling and information dissemination.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of an Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training.
- Current BCLS certification and ability to maintain current requirements.
- Ability to assist physicians with TEE testing.
- Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
