At Carondelet St. Marys Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Lead Telemetry to join our team. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in coordinating, directing, and evaluating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Supports, evaluates, prioritizes, and supervises patient care and unit needs during assigned shift.
- Serves as designee for unit matters in nurse manager/director absence.
- Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients.
- Makes patient assignments and delegates unit-specific task assignments to ensure patient care and unit needs are met.
- Monitors effectiveness and completion of unit assignments.
- Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes (current and anticipated), patient acuity, and staff availability.
- Demonstrates timely and effective communication skills in daily interactions with team members and others.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License.
- Required in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity (i.e. critical care: CCRN).
- Must have functioned in an RN role for a minimum of 1 year clinical experience required.
- 1 year of ICU experience required (prefer Neuro ICU exp).
