Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities to identify student requirements.
  • Design and execute tailored intervention strategies for students experiencing communication challenges.
  • Provide therapeutic services in both one-on-one and group formats.
  • Keep meticulous documentation of student advancements and therapy sessions.
  • Engage in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student achievement.
  • Contribute actively in IEP meetings, offering insights regarding speech and language objectives.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements and methodologies in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, although Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with school-aged children is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.
  • A genuine commitment to assisting students in reaching their full potential.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time role, requiring 35 hours per week.
  • The caseload encompasses students from Pre K through 12.
