Job Summary

St. Michael's Medical Center seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, ensuring technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Your expertise will be crucial in producing accurate recordings and transmitting images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
  • Position patients and equipment, and produce an appropriate recording.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS.
Requirements
  • RDMS (ARDMS) or R (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
  • Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
  • Proficient computer skills.
