About the RoleAs a Medical ICU Nurse, you'll provide high-quality care to patients requiring a higher level of surveillance than a general med/surg floor. You'll work with a diverse patient population, assessing and reassessing their needs every 2 to 4 hours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients with complex medical needs, including respiratory distress, cardiac issues, and neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in unit-specific certifications, including ACLS, basic dysrhythmia interpretation, NIHSS, and ASLS.
- Contribute to a supportive community that prioritizes patient-centered care and staff well-being.
