Physical Production Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble signage utilizing computer-cut vinyl and large-format prints.
- Prepare surfaces, apply vinyl, and mount or laminate printed materials.
- Operate finishing equipment to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Conduct thorough proofreading of signs to maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently schedule daily workflows to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Assess customer needs to determine the most suitable output methods.
- Interpret work orders accurately to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and clients on file management and project specifications.
- Design layouts considering space, aesthetics, and production requirements.
- Prepare detailed illustrations and layouts for print reproduction based on client directives.
- Monitor job accuracy before final output, ensuring correct materials and settings are used.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of customer logos and convert graphic files as needed.
Image Management:
Source images while adhering to copyright regulations and usage guidelines. Knowledge of stock image resources and resolution standards is essential.
- Provide proofs for client approval as necessary.
- Perform regular backups and archive files appropriately.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, including computers and printers.
- Keep accurate records of file storage and adhere to brand standards.
- Minimize waste by effectively managing materials and notifying supervisors of low inventory.
Production Duties:
- Follow established layouts for applying graphics to various substrates.
- Prepare substrates through cutting, painting, and cleaning as required.
- Operate printers with various ink types to meet production needs.
- Execute quality assurance checks before and after production to ensure standards are met.
- Perform finishing tasks such as laminating and mounting printed materials.
- Assist in the unloading of raw materials and maintain organized storage areas.
- Consistently meet production rate targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
General Expectations:
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Report inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Enhance knowledge of graphic design and production through continuous learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
