Role Summary and RequirementsPosition Overview
As a Surgical Services Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and organizing surgical supplies and equipment.
- Setting up sterile instrument tables for procedures.
- Assisting in patient positioning and skin preparation.
- Maintaining strict sterile techniques and monitoring for any breaches.
- Supporting the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and monitoring patient status.
- Post-procedure, you will assist in the cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred experience in a hospital setting.
- The physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent movement and lifting.
