Century West Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Airport Planner to contribute to the preparation of airport planning and environmental documents for general aviation and commercial service airports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FAA Advisory circulars and orders related to airport planning and design.

• Assist in the preparation of airport master plans, airport layout plans, NEPA environmental documents, and other planning documents.
• Develop planning concept alternatives for major elements of airport infrastructure, including airfield, passenger terminal, landside access, cargo, and support areas.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Participate in public meetings, public hearings, agency meetings, and coordinate with airport users to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Assist with business development and proposal preparation to secure new projects and clients.

• B.S./B.A. Degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or Planning.
• Minimum 0-5 years of aviation planning experience at GA, regional, and commercial service airports.
• Professional certifications such as AICP, AAAE AAE, or CM, PMP, or ability to obtain.
