Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a 46-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 12 or 24-hour hospitalist shifts, with a minimum of 8 shifts per month
- Manage a high-volume caseload, with approximately 350-375 deliveries per year
- Collaborate with a night NP to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and support
Requirements
- Board certification is not required, but experience in OB/GYN is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing hospital needs
