Job Summary

The Driver position at Zep Inc. is a critical role that requires a combination of driving skills, customer service abilities, and logistical expertise. As a Driver, you will be responsible for coordinating delivery routes, delivering and/or unloading products to customer locations, and maintaining the delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Deliver and/or unload products to customer locations, including loading and unloading cargo
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, including regular maintenance and repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Check accuracy and stability of the load to ensure safe transportation
  • Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and order fulfillment
  • Comply with DOT rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Proven three to five years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Ability to handle freight and secure loads
  • Valid Class A CDL with hazardous material endorsements
  • Must pass DOT drug screen and be enrolled in a random drug screen program
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean MVR driving record, with no serious traffic violations
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
