IT Director

Elgen Staffing is seeking an experienced Director of IT to lead our client's technology operations in Cicero. As the overall leader of IT, you will be responsible for delivering and sustaining cost-effective, reliable, high-performing, and secure day-to-day IT capabilities required to support our present and future business needs.

• People Leadership: Manage a team of IT professionals, including performance management, development plans, and performance reviews.
• IT Operations: Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring consistent adherence to IT security requirements and ensuring the IT environment is updated with the latest security patches and configurations.
• Supplier Management: Manage strategic relationships and contracts with 3rd-party providers, ensuring service delivery tracking, adherence to SLAs, and financial requirements.
• Project Delivery: Lead project delivery for initiatives in scope for the team, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Budget Management: Manage budgets for IT operations services and project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Audit Compliance: Ensure audit compliance and alignment, defining and tracking consistent practices and proper workload assignments.
• IT Disaster Recovery: Own and maintain the organization's IT disaster recovery process, including planning, coordination, and execution of annual DR drills.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated technical expertise in cloud architecture, cloud operations, network operations, and security practices.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical thinking skills.
• Communication Skills: Ability to design and deploy technical capabilities that meet all business requirements and fully align with business partners.
• Business Intelligence: Understand business intelligence tools and recommend reporting options.
• Remote Team Management: Effectively lead and operate remote teams.
