Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to develop their skills and foster independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Help individuals develop their skills and foster independence through activities such as education, employment training, and recreational activities.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individual progress and services provided.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for individuals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities; experience in a residential setting preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
