About the Role

We are looking for an automotive customer service representative to join our team at Toyota of Hattiesburg. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their vehicle issues, consult with technicians to determine necessary repairs, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction.

The estimated salary for this position is around $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and speak to them about their vehicle needs
  • Consult with technicians about needed repairs and inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
  • Schedule shop work for technicians and inform customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer and determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts and establish follow-up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order and explain all completed work and charges to customers
