Key Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
- Recognize and report any abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
- Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Transfer, position, and turn residents safely and efficiently.
- Provide skin care and promote wound healing.
- Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care.
- Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
- Care for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by the supervisor.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Respect and protect resident rights, confidentiality, and personal belongings.
- Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- CNA licensure if required by state.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
